We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production worker / Packager to join our manufacturing team, responsible for assisting with the production, packaging, labelling, and handling of meat products while following company specifications, GMP, HACCP, CFIA, food-safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace-safety requirements. The employee ensures products are properly packaged, labelled, stored, and prepared for shipment while maintaining a clean and secure work environment.
Duties
Operate packaging machinery and hand tools to assemble and package meat products according to specifications
Inspect finished goods for quality assurance, ensuring packaging meets safety and quality standards
Use forklifts or other warehouse equipment to move raw materials or finished products as needed
Assist with assembly processes when required, supporting production flow.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas,
including organizing packaging supplies and tools
Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper handling of mechanical equipment and materials
Document packaging activities and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors
Experience
Prior experience in a meat processing facility, warehouse.
knowledge and experience using hand tools are advantageous
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining safety standards
Experience with packaging, assembly, or related tasks in a manufacturing setting is desirable
