About us:
Micro Espresso is a specialty coffee roaster with three café locations in Montréal. We take pride in roasting our own coffee beans and are known for our high-quality coffee and warm, attentive customer service.

We are currently looking for an experienced seasonal barista to join our Mile End location through our busy season, until November 1.

We’re looking for someone who is:
Passionate about coffee and customer service
Experienced - minimum 1 year as a barista in a specialty coffee shop
Bilingual (English and French)
A solid communicator with a friendly and skilled attitude
Comfortable working both independently and in a team
Reliable, punctual, and well organized
Quick and efficient in a fast-paced environment
Meticulous about cleanliness and keeping the space tidy

Responsibilities:
Prepare espresso-based drinks and other specialty coffee beverages




Serve pastries and help customers with their selections
Educate guests about our coffees and recommend beans based on their preferences
Keep the café clean, well-stocked, and organized throughout the day
Perform opening duties, including brewing filter coffee, baking pastries, and setting up the bar
Handle closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and prepping for the next day
Operate the cash register and POS system

Salary: $16.60/hour + tips (around $7/hour)

Hours: 15 hours/week

Schedule: weekend availability required

Job type: seasonal position until November 1 (with the possibility to continue if additional hours become available)
