The Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter is responsible for maintenance, modifications, and installation/dismantling of plumbing systems throughout our construction projects.The successful candidate must be willing to work after hours and on weekends as required. Tools, uniforms, PPE are provided.ResponsibilitiesConduct timely inspections, testing, and accurate reporting of equipment defects and deficienciesRun drain lines, plumbing lines, and gas lines as well as install all plumbing related equipmentInstall boilers, hot‑water tanks and furnacesReplace valves and actuatorsContribute input for planned and scheduled work, and assist with completing the committed scheduleAid in scoping, estimating, planning, and executing current work or projectsEnsure all installations, repairs,



and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and gradedGuarantee all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codesQualificationsJourneyman Plumber Certificate and Red Seal with a minimum of 3 years’ experience is requiredClass A Gas Fitter is preferredClass 5 license and clean driver’s abstract is requiredMust be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test, Fit‑to‑Work Test, and Extensive Background CheckMust be able to obtain Government Security ClearanceStrong verbal and written communication skillsAble to read drawings and blueprintsAbility to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safetyWilling to travelThis position is safety sensitive and will require completion of a pre‑employment alcohol & drug test, fit‑to‑work medical test, background check, and security clearance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
