As an Junior Engineer/Scientist, in Grande Prairie you'll be responsible for assisting multiple projects where you will have increasing interaction with our multi-disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. You will be part of a strong team of committed professionals. The compensation range for this role is $25.00 to $34.00, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location To thrive in this role, you'll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:
Assistwith the field coordination and execution of Phase IIenvironmentalsite assessments,remediationand groundwater monitoring programs Support soiland vegetation assessments Participate in spill responses and associated clean-up activities Travel asrequiredto support field programs Prepare technical reports Assistwith other service line projects when needed Your Expertise and Skills

Excellent problem solving ability Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Environmental, Engineering, Chemistry, or other related science 1 - 3 years of related experience Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within reporting structure Strong oral and written communication skills Site safety certifications and familiarity with off road vehicles, ½ or ¾ ton trucks would be considered an asset A valid class 5 driver’s license (or class G or equivalent) with no restrictions Work Setting and Physical Requirements
