Lead our Manufacturing Plant's safety initiatives as a Safety Program Coordinator. Focus on compliance, organize safety training, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Health & Safety Supervisor, this role involves promoting compliance with safety laws and conducting audits. You will be pivotal in maintaining accurate safety records and ensuring that all staff are well-informed about safety procedures.

Collaborate closely with manufacturing employees to conduct job hazard analyses and enhance safety policies actively.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure current compliance with all safety legislation
Conduct safety audits and communicate findings
Manage recent hire safety orientations and training
Maintain and update safety documentation and information
Oversee first aid kits and emergency equipment

Requirements:
Solid organizational and interpersonal skills
Experience in safety program administration
Background in a manufacturing setting preferred
Post-secondary education in a safety-related discipline
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
