Château Westmount Square is looking for a permanent part-time 1st line cook / prep cook who is hardworking and dedicated and has a genuine passion for a skilled culinary workplace.
Restaurant
Experience 1–3 years preferred Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards and presentation guidelines. Set up, maintain, and break down assigned stations for service. Assist with daily prep, including chopping, measuring, portioning, marinating, labeling and stocking.
Ensure ingredients are properly stored, rotated, labeled and handled according to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation, storage area and kitchen equipment. Follow all safety, sanitation and workplace safety procedures.
Work with the kitchen team to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent service.
Languages
English / French - Excellent command of the French and English language. English is required to respond to requests from English-speaking customers.
