Responsibilities:
Operate and set up welding and fabrication equipment, including MIG, plasma, torches, grinders, drills, iron workers, and transit tools.
Assemble and fabricate recent formwork components.
Perform maintenance and repairs on existing formwork.
Interpret and follow blueprints and mechanical drawings.
Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ensure equipment is maintained safely, following proper LOTO procedures and complying with OHSA and company safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Robust mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings.
High attention to detail and robust problem-solving abilities.
Experience with overhead cranes and rigging.
Valid CWB certification.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant welding/fabrication experience.
Proficient in MIG and Stick welding across all positions.
Experienced in using a wide range of hand and power tools.
