In this senior consulting role, you will collaborate with Personal and Business Banking and Commercial Banking & Wealth Management units. Your primary focus will be on developing solid control environments and operating risk management processes. You will act as a subject matter expert to guide teams through risk assessments, deficiency remediation, and alignment with CIBC’s Control Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage relationships with LOB partners and stakeholders
• Proactively identify and analyze risk exposures




• Lead internal audits and compliance assessments
• Execute all requirements of the Control Framework
• Mentor team members and influence risk culture
Requirements:
• Experience in Business Controls or Operational Risk Management
• Knowledge of Compliance, Audit procedures
• Understanding of risk management frameworks and regulations
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Project Management experience preferred
