This role requires a Project Engineer to report directly to the Director, Project Delivery and engage in complex projects within a matrix workplace. You will be responsible for guiding engineering deliverables throughout their lifecycle, from design reviews to risk management and compliance. A strong emphasis will be on translating operational needs into actionable engineering requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support project planning by identifying technical constraints and milestones
• Challenge vendor proposals for alignment with operational goals
• Validate system interfaces and integration considerations
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety
• Prepare technical assessments and stakeholder reports
Requirements:
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or in progress
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar engineering role
• Experience in technical risk management and integration activities
• Solid analytical and decision-making abilities
• Capable of effective communication across various stakeholders
