Our client is a well-established, mid-sized manufacturing company with locations in Mississauga and Guelph. They’re looking for a skilled TIG Welder/Fitter to join their team in Guelph. This is a excellent prospect to work with a passionate team in a clean, modern facility.
Training
Although this role is based in Guelph, initial training will take place at the clients company’s head office in Mississauga.
Your Responsibilities
Lay out, fit, and fabricate stainless steel components
Apply your knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and fabrication requirements
Read and interpret blueprints
Build products according to engineering specifications
Plan and complete full-cycle welding operations
Our Offer
Competitive hourly rate: $22–$27,
based on experience
Full-time, permanent position
Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Weekly pay via direct deposit
Benefits package after 3 months
Our Requirements
1–3 years of TIG welding experience using a foot pedal
TIG welding on sheet metal (required)
Experience working with stainless steel
Fabrication setting experience (an asset)
Laser welding machine experience (an asset)
Ability to stand for extended periods
