The Royal Alexandra Hospital is looking for a motivated Physiotherapist I to join its Inpatient Acute Care team. This role involves assessing patients and tailoring physiotherapy interventions to enhance their recovery post-surgery or trauma. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, engage patients and families in healing processes, and drive quality improvement initiatives within the rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform assessments for patients recovering from acute conditions • Develop and modify individualized treatment strategies • Deliver interventions focused on mobility and pain management • Support patient education and discharge planning • Mentor students and participate in quality assurance
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited program • Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta • Strong clinical and problem-solving abilities • Independent and team-oriented work skills • Experience working with complex patient populations preferred
