This role is responsible for pre, intra and post care of surgical and procedural patients. The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process to direct and deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in Surgical Day Care and Procedures in a safe and proficient manner according to individual patient needs.The successful incumbent provides clinical support intraoperative throughout minor surgical procedures (colonoscopy, gastroscopy, urological procedures) assesses and monitors the patient’s condition throughout the pre-operative post-operative period and assures patient safety.The candidate will also provide clear education and communication, ensuring care meets individual needs while supporting our mission to improve access, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life throughout the community.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Care of patients pre-op/procedure, intra-procedure and post-operatively/post-procedure.Care planning and coordination of care with various team members.Utilization of computerized systems for documentation of patient care.Manage workload effectively in a fast-paced workplace.Participation in project teams or hospital committees as required.Endoscopy experience an asset or related procedural experience.Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.Perform additional duties and undertake special projects as assigned.Corporate Responsibilities:Participate in all mandatory training requirements and work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations,
