As a full time Counsellor at Hull Services' Mountainside Program, you will engage with youth aged 9 to 13, implementing evidence-based treatment strategies. Your role involves planning interventions, supervising daily activities, and collaborating with families to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities: • Ensure safety and nurture the developmental needs of children • Communicate behavioral limits and enforce guidelines • Supervise daily activities,
providing therapeutic interventions • Develop and facilitate individual and group recreational activities • Promote advocacy for children's rights within the community
Requirements: • Degree or diploma in Child and Youth Care or related fields • Experience in therapeutic campus-based care preferred • Strong personal competence in relationship building • Valid driver’s license and clear police checks required • Completion of First Aid and crisis intervention training is an asset
