Job Summary

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in the Specialty Surgery Department located in Ottawa, ON. Full‑time position. Existing job status. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $38.00 per hour depending on experience and skills.

Responsibilities
Minimum of 2 years as a practicing Veterinary Technician
Organize daily bookings and prepare caseload file information for veterinarians and the neurology team
Serve as the point of contact between veterinarian, pet owner and specialty departments
Have and be willing to enhance technical skills in anesthesia, CRIs, epidurals and mechanical ventilators
Work closely with the ICU team and treatment team, providing assistance as needed
Thrive in a steady and rapid‑paced environment
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills when working with colleagues
Maintain accurate patient records
Apply strong problem‑solving abilities
