We are now hiring Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) for senior living homes in Trenton Ontario. Our client provides a competitive compensation package and this is a 3,6-month and full time contracts with health and dental perks. Current certificate of registration from College of Nurses of Ontario (RPN) and be able to provide a copy of the nursing license to indicate valuable standing.
Roles and Responsibilities
Utilize sound nursing practice principles and Provide nursing care in accordance with policy, physician's orders, the resident plan of care
Identify the needs of residents and develop and maintain appropriate care plans
Ensure a timely and accessible admission for the residents
Ensure the supply, control and safe keeping of drugs and narcotics,
ensure protocols are followed on all assigned shifts
RPN - Diploma in Practical Nursing, current registration as Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Sound nursing knowledge in geriatric care and nursing administration
Knowledge of the requirements of the Nursing Home Act and Regulations, the appropriate sections of the Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, Food & Drug Act
