Emcon Services Inc. is hiring a Seasonal Maintenance Worker/Operator at its Timmins Patrol Yard. This role requires highway maintenance experience and focuses on safe, effective operations during both winter and summer seasons. Candidates should be ready for shift work and overtime as needed
Key Responsibilities: • Carry out all assigned highway maintenance activities • Perform tasks such as plowing and sanding roads • Assist with minor vehicle and equipment maintenance • Patrol highways and manage right-of-way upkeep • Respond to emergency situations and drainage needs
Requirements: • DZ license in positive standing; AZ license preferred • Previous experience in highway maintenance is an asset • Friendly and helpful towards public and staff • Reliable and punctual with shift availability • Physically able to meet all maintenance requirements
