We are currently seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist (<29 hours a week) to join our X-Ray Department at our Burlington location. The X-Ray Technician uses imaging modalities, performs radiographic procedures, applies principles of radiation protection, and evaluates radiographs for technical quality while exercising qualified judgment and providing excellent patient care.
Experience:
A minimum of one year of x-ray experience in an outpatient clinic setting is preferred.
Experience with EPIC is a plus but not required.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program
Current A.R.R.T.
certification (RT-R)
Current BLS certification with AHA
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort
Verify patient identity and explain procedures clearly
Produce high-quality diagnostic images
Adhere to radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements
Position and transfer patients safely
Evaluate image quality and accuracy
Assist with patient flow and departmental operations as needed
