Veris is seeking a Program Administrator in Edmonton, Alberta on a long term contract prospect. This role will assists and support the program director and team members and is responsible for general administrative duties, including maintaining accurate and complete records of program documents. This position must demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication, client service skills and experience with Microsoft Project Server.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
· Scheduling meetings
· Managing the program schedule in MS PS On-line
· Record meeting minutes (Program and projects) and actions
· Manage the program status reporting process, schedule and content collation
· Manage the contract and partner invoice reconciliations to budgets and statements of work (SOW’s)
· Perform general administrative duties such as typing, copying and filing
· Coordinate Program communications, correspondence, mail, packages, deliveries,
and calendars
· Inventory and ordering of office supplies
· Inventory, operation and upkeep of office equipment
· Maintain filing systems
Job Skills & Abilities
Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products especially Project Server and SharePoint
Broad understanding of Utilities industry would be helpful
Robust written and verbal communication skills
Basic math skills
Functions effectively as part of a team
Dependability
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
Ability to understand and follow directions,
Valuable time management and organizational skills
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma required
Junior College or Vocational education desired
Minimum of 4 years of related program administrative experience
