As a Overhead Crane Technician, you install, maintain and repair crane for our customers across the Maritimes. You will have the chance to service cranes from a variety of industries including construction, fishing, and oil and gas. This role will report to the Overhead Crane Team Lead.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate effectively within a team environment and work independently when required.
Provide on-call support for breakdowns and urgent repairs.
Perform comprehensive crane inspections and accurately complete all required documentation.
Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and code specifications to determine equipment layout.
Conduct electrical and mechanical servicing of lifting equipment in compliance with CSA B167, CMAA, and provincial regulations.
Consult with customers to clearly communicate inspection findings and provide recommendations for repairs or modifications.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Journeyman Electrical or Industrial Millwright ticket considered an asset
10,000 hours of crane servicing experience considered an asset
Class 5 Drivers License required
Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written
Comfortable and capable of working at heights of up to 125 feet.
