310T Truck & Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Location: Timmins, Ontario

Hourly Rate: $45 – $50 per hour (depending on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and licensed 310T Truck and Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join our in-house maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of highway trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on highway tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment
Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Complete safety inspections and maintain records to meet MTO, provincial, and company standards
Conduct road tests, and verify repairs are complete and compliant




Interpret work orders, technical manuals, and schematics
Collaborate with the parts department and other technicians to complete repairs efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and protected work environment
Support emergency repairs as required

Qualifications:
Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician license in good standing
Heavy Equipment Technician (421A) license or experience is an asset
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience (highly experienced candidates encouraged to apply)
Valid G-class driver’s licence; DZ or AZ considered an asset but not needed
Robust knowledge of diesel engine systems, air brake systems, hydraulic components, and diagnostic tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
