Description The Sawmill Division is seeking to fill a part-time Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) position at the Veneer Sawmill in Saint-Léonard, NB.

Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs on machinery, and install industrial mechanical equipment in a production workplace
Troubleshoot, repair, assemble, and conduct preventive maintenance on machines
Read and interpret blueprints to manufacture equipment and perform modifications as needed
Monitor daily maintenance activities and respond to emergency situations promptly
Repair or replace components such as chains,
conveyor belts, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and perform welding and cutting tasks
Qualifications
Your qualifications:
Diploma in Industrial Mechanics (Block 3 or higher required)
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Welding certification is considered an asset
Must meet J.D. Irving, Limited (JDI) selection criteria
