Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The LPN will work closely with our clients in various healthcare settings to provide high-quality and personalized care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
Assist with patient assessments and care planning
Provide wound care and dressings
Administer injections and perform other nursing procedures
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
Educate patients and their families on self-care and disease management
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance nursing skills and knowledge
Qualifications
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Ontario
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic medical records
