About the Role
We are seeking a Licensed Electrician to support the assembly, wiring, and commissioning of complex heavy industrial equipment. This role is hands-on and shop-floor based, involving electrical installation, troubleshooting, and integration of electrical systems within large-scale machinery.
The ideal candidate has strong industrial electrical experience, machine build exposure, and is comfortable working in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment with both electrical and mechanical integration tasks.
/ Responsibilities
Perform electrical assembly on heavy industrial equipment including panel wiring, conduit installation, and system integration
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, wire lists, and color codes
Install and size conduit, seal-tight, cab-tire, and technical cabling on equipment
Perform power wiring (110–750VAC, single and three phase) and low-voltage DC wiring (0–24V)
Support equipment commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities
Inspect and verify electrical work completed by assembly teams for quality and compliance
Assist with mechanical and hydraulic assembly where required
Perform shop and equipment maintenance as needed
Ensure compliance with electrical codes (CEC, NEC) and internal safety standards
Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly and build process
Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve build and wiring issues
Qualifications / Requirements
Licensed Electrician (Industrial 442A or Construction & Maintenance 309A) required
Experience in industrial machine building or heavy equipment manufacturing
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Hands-on experience with electrical measurement tools (multimeters, calibrators, etc.)
Knowledge of conduit sizing and industrial wiring practices
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in cross-functional assembly environments
Comfortable working rotating shifts and overtime
