Permanent Journeyperson Mechanic - Transportation Services, Tisdale
The North East School Division, a progressive, thriving, community-based school division, is currently seeking a Full-Time Permanent (8 hours/day - 12 month) Journeyperson Mechanic in Tisdale with duties to commence as mutually agreed upon.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Journeyperson Mechanic provides the hands‑on and technical expertise in the maintenance and repair of a variety of gasoline and diesel powered school buses and other school division vehicles.
Qualifications and Skills
Grade 12 diploma from a provincially recognized institution or equivalent.
Journeypersonmechanic certification or Level 2 Apprenticeship training.
Current SGI certification for school bus inspections OR the ability to obtain certification.
An understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements for the protected operation of both a fleet, and repair facility.
Proficiency in the operation of computers, word processing, diagnostic applications and additional software used by the school division.
Valid class 5 Driver's License.
Experience in the maintenance of school buses would be considered an asset.
Familiar with fleet management software would be considered an asset.
