Our client is an international food and beverage production company. They are currently looking for a maintenance mechanic to join their team in their state-of-the-art production facility in Calgary. The facility leverages advanced industrial equipment and the expertise of a large multi-skilled team to ensure products of the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Maintain equipment, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance
Demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical maintenance troubleshooting and problem-solving principles and concepts
Repair or replace defective machinery parts and rebuild parts as required
Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
Other related duties as required
Education & Experience
A diploma or qualification in a mechanical discipline is an asset
Previous related experience in industrial maintenance is an asset
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail and high-quality standards
Positive attitude and self-starter
WORK SETTING
Personal Protective Equipment required in all work settings
Work environments can vary between wet, dusty, cold, hot, and high noise conditions
Work around automated equipment
WAGE RATE
$39.00 per hour
