A well-established and reputable heavy equipment dealership in Atlantic Canada is seeking a Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician to join their team. This opportunity includes both in-shop and field service work, supporting a wide range of construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, fuel, and cooling systems
Service and repair a diverse fleet of construction equipment
Conduct equipment testing to ensure proper performance post-repair
Complete detailed service documentation and maintain accurate records
Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers regarding job status
Perform field service work in a professional and timely manner
Utilize technical manuals and systems to identify and order parts
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment




Participate in ongoing training and development
Work overtime as required

Qualifications & Experience
Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician (required)
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on repair experience
Experience in a dealership environment considered an asset
Solid understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems
Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
Valid driver’s license and passport required
High school diploma or equivalent
