Tasks As the
Logistics Specialist , you will take on a diverse set of responsibilities, such as:
Receiving and Shipping of aircraft/engine material and tooling as per described procedures
Execute Engine and Engine Module shipping and receiving processes including loading, off-loading and verification processes
Transportation of aircraft/engine material, Engines and Engine Modules withing the facility
Physical handling of material, incl. opening packages and performing the packaging process
Inventory and stock keeping of consumable items required in production
Proactively work to resolve discrepancies as they occur
Input data in electronic data processing systems
Coordinate with service providers as required
Recognize significance of required airworthiness certificates for aircraft material and properly applying associated regulatory requirements
* All other duties as assigned or required
Requirements To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:
High School Diploma/ GED required
1 year experience in aviation logistics with experience in handling aviation material
1 year experience operating small and large forklifts
1 year experience in shipping Dangerous Goods
Fluency in English language required
French language desirable
MS Office skills
Excellent detail oriented
Excellent quality consciousness
Excellent commitment
Excellent initiative
Excellent teamwork
Willingness to travel (mainly for training)
Must possess a valid driver´s license
Must be able to operate a forklift
Willingness to work overtime / shifts and on weekends / holidays if required
Lift up to 70lbs
Must possess a legal work permit in Canada
