Make an impact as a Youth Support Worker at YWCA Prince Albert Inc. This part time role focuses on client support, crisis management, and life skills training for youth. As part of a permanent team, you'll be guaranteed 20 hours weekly at the Central Avenue Shelter. Your role will emphasize emotional support and effective advocacy for youth, fostering their independence while maintaining a positive, clean, and secure workplace. Specialized experience with clients facing mental health challenges is essential to this role. Key Responsibilities:
Advocate for residents' transitioning into independence
Perform room and bag checks for safety
Complete routine and major cleaning duties
Attend staff meetings and training sessions
Respond to crises as they arise Requirements:
Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License required
Experience in crisis management with vulnerable clients
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
Capability to complete heavy lifting tasks
