Become a key part of Waasegiizhig Nanaandawe’iyewigamig as a Casual Client Support Worker. This role is centered on empowering Indigenous clients through supportive housing and holistic health care initiatives. Working on a adaptable schedule, you'll have the chance to support clients in the community as they navigate their healing journeys and develop life skills. You'll be involved in planning, facilitating group activities, and connecting clients with essential services, all from an Indigenous perspective. Your knowledge and empathy towards holistic health and dedication to client well-being will be vital. Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients in developing and achieving personal goals
Facilitate access to culturally relevant services
Participate in group sessions with activities and teachings
Document client interactions and support needs
Maintain a team-based approach for facility safety Requirements:
Completed OSSD or equivalent needed
Background in health care, particularly with Indigenous groups
Proficient interpersonal and communication skills
Understanding of holistic health methodologies
