YWCA Hamilton is hiring three passionate Women’s Advocates to support residents in their Transitional Living program. This role requires you to engage in crisis intervention, supportive counseling, and group facilitation, all while promoting a protected and respectful environment. Your commitment to feminist, anti-racist values will be key in addressing the needs of diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities:
Support shelter operations and independence plans with clients
Conduct client assessments and provide vital referrals
Maintain detailed client records and reports
Collaborate with relevant community service agencies
Offer structured programming to build client skills Requirements:
2 years college education in social services
1 to 3 years’ experience in similar roles
Robust interpersonal and communication skills
Certification in First Aid and CPR required
