Become a key contributor as a Community Support Worker at The Salvation Army. Empower adults with disabilities by facilitating life skills development, educational pursuits, and supportive employment prospects. You will provide individualized, outcome-driven support tailored to each Service User's needs and goals. Collaborating closely with team members, you’ll ensure the highest quality of support that promotes independence. Expect to engage in personal care, organize transport for activities, and participate in community programs. Key Responsibilities:
Implement support based on personalized Service User plans
Provide assistance with personal care and mobility
Support Service Users in achieving their defined goals
Maintain comprehensive records using agency software
Keep updated on community resources and events Requirements:
Two years of relevant post-secondary education
Certifications in First Aid and CPI required
Minimum two years experience with vulnerable populations
Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License and reliable transportation
