About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent Senior Project Manager to oversee critical infrastructure projects in Kimberley . This role involves managing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to utilities, public works, or major civil engineering works within the Northern Cape . You will work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. The ideal candidate possesses robust leadership capabilities and a thorough understanding of infrastructure development principles and project management best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, from initiation, planning, and design through to construction and commissioning.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with engineering consultants, contractors, and other third parties to ensure project objectives are met.
- Oversee site activities, monitor progress, ensure quality control, and enforce safety standards on project sites.
- Manage project finances, track expenditures,



and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate project status, key decisions, and potential issues to stakeholders and senior management effectively.

Requirements

- A minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure project management .
- Proven track record of managing large-scale civil engineering, utility, or public works projects.
- In-depth knowledge of infrastructure development processes, engineering principles, and construction methods.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project management software and contract administration.
- A relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
