Tim Hortons in Victoria, BC is hiring an experienced Baker to join the kitchen team at 880 Esquimalt Road. This is a full time position in a fast-paced bake shop and café environment.

Work Setting:

Food Specialties:

Breads and rolls, Desserts and pastries, Donuts and muffins

Responsibilities:
Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
Bake mixed dough and batters
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Prepare special orders
Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff (1 to 2 people)
Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
Inspect kitchen and food service areas
Operate machinery
Organize and maintain inventory

Requirements:
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
Ability to distinguish between colours
Attention to detail
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination




Ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Reliable, accurate, dependable team player

Work Conditions:
