We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our reporting and analytics team. The individual in this role will work with current team members to develop recent and enhance current reporting and analytic tools supporting all areas within the Global Service Desk organization. The Ideal candidate must have experience developing Tableau dashboards and be comfortable working with SQL.
The candidate should also have experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations. They must have a proven ability to drive business results with their databased insights. They must be comfortable interacting with internal our company clients including data owners, data stewards, platform owners, and area heads.
The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.
This role requires experience in medium to large IT organizations and refined written and oral communication skills being able to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
Develop and enhance current reporting tools
Visualize datasets using Tableau
Data mining using state-of-the-art methods
Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
Must have skills
At least 1+ years of skilled experience as a Tableau Developer
Robust knowledge of data visualization best practices using Tableau Experience with Tableau Server is ideal
Experience working with a relational database (SQL, Oracle, etc.)
Working knowledge of relational databases, data structures, and queries
Experience with Python- Experience working with business teams to translate functional requirements into technical requirements
Experience processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
Nice to Have
Experience accessing a data lake with Python
Ability to perform data mapping, blending and ETL design is a plus
Web development experience (Java, Spring, Angular, React, jQuery, D3, Bootstrap)
Knowledge in Wealth Management and Brokerage domains
