This is a sole payroll role, ideal for someone who thrives working independently and takes pride in delivering accurate, compliant payroll processing from end to end. This is an immediate start contract running through the end of November, working on-site in a convenient downtown Toronto location.Key ResponsibilitiesFull-cycle payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees in a unionized environmentAct as the sole point of contact for all payroll-related inquiriesInterpret and apply collective agreements, including union dues, seniority, and pay rulesProcess earnings, deductions, benefits, and statutory remittancesEnsure compliance with CRA regulations, employment standards, and internal policiesMaintain accurate employee payroll records and documentationReconcile payroll reports and support internal reporting requirementsCoordinate with HR and Finance on employee changes, onboarding, and terminationsSupport year-end processes (T4s, reconciliations,
