In the role of Assistant Head Nurse, you will oversee patient transfer processes and provide direction to multidisciplinary teams. Your key responsibilities will include addressing discharge barriers, making critical decisions for patient safety, and improving overall healthcare operations. You will collaborate with senior leadership to tackle capacity and flow challenges and provide mentorship to current staff, fostering a culture of quality care at AHS.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee patient flow coordination and leadership
• Facilitate safe and timely patient transfers




• Provide clinical expertise in daily operations
• Address system issues during Bed Huddles
• Mentor new nurses and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with current CRNA permit
• Minimum five years in an acute care setting
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Effective communicator with diverse teams
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS-HCP) certified
