Our client is seeking an Accounting Services Manager to lead a portfolio of clients, deliver high-quality financial reporting, and manage a remote accounting team. This is a fully remote role designed for someone who thrives in a flexible environment, enjoys client interaction, and brings both technical expertise and leadership to the table.
You will act as a trusted advisor to clients by overseeing financial reporting, guiding decision-making, and ensuring audit-ready results, while mentoring a distributed team and driving process improvements.
What you’ll do
Own a portfolio of clients and oversee full-cycle accounting
Deliver accurate, timely, and audit-ready financial reporting
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership teams and boards
Translate financial data into explicit, actionable insights
Lead client relationships and facilitate regular meetings
Partner with auditors and support audit processes
Drive process improvements and system enhancements
Mentor, review, and support a remote accounting team
Support onboarding of new clients and establish scalable processes
What you bring
CPA (or equivalent) with 5+ years of progressive experience
Proven experience in a client-facing environment
Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines remotely
Solid communication skills with confidence presenting to senior leaders and boards
Advanced Excel skills and experience with QBO, Sage, or similar tools
