This non-union Research Assistant position under OVCARE requires a self-motivated individual with at least three years of relevant experience. You will lead day-to-day wet lab operations, process biological samples, and maintain comprehensive biospecimen records. Collaboration with laboratory technologists and data scientists is essential for the smooth functioning of the biobank.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the gynecologic tumor biobank
Process and store tissue and study-specific samples
Maintain inventory records using an online database
Fulfill researcher requests for biospecimens
Support compliance with ethical and regulatory standards
Requirements:
Minimum three years of relevant experience
University degree or technical program completion
Robust attention to detail and problem-solving skills
