As a School Youth Worker within the Teen Recreation and Education Enhancement program, you will be instrumental in enhancing student engagement and providing tailored support. Your background in youth care will be critical in addressing the unique challenges faced by students.

Key Responsibilities:



• Offer in-class culturally sensitive support services • Establish meaningful relationships that lead to community connections • Promote youth participation in school activities and outings • Perform case note documentation and reporting duties • Assist in developing contextual curriculum for students

Requirements: • 2-Year Diploma or higher in Child and Youth Care or related • 1 year of relevant experience in specialized educational settings • Knowledge of positive behavior support strategies • Excellent communication and relationship management skills • Ability to adapt to various student needs and challenges
