Lead fundraising initiatives at York University’s School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design as the Director of Development. Your expertise will be key to enhancing alumni engagement and securing philanthropic support.

This role focuses on developing and executing strategies to achieve significant fundraising goals of $1M to $1.5M annually. You’ll collaborate closely with university leadership while engaging alumni, faculty, and donors, fostering relationships that drive institutional priorities forward. Your leadership will empower the advancement of the university's mission through enhanced philanthropic efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
• Strategize and implement effective fundraising campaigns
• Cultivate relationships with alumni and potential donors




• Oversight of stewardship processes for donor engagement
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align fundraising goals
• Foster a culture of giving within the university community

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• 6 years in a successful fundraising role
• 4 years in management within a unionized setting
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices and laws
• Mastery of project management and analytical skills
