This part-time position encompasses 45 hours bi-weekly, from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM, focusing on female-identified and gender-fluid youth aged 14-18. You will be integral in maintaining a safe environment and ensuring continuity of care through direct engagement and observation. Your approach will be grounded in equity-based, trauma-informed practices to address complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver therapeutic engagement during overnight hours
• Oversee youth routines, including hygiene and safety checks
• Document incidents,
medication tracking, and observations
• Facilitate calming activities and support crisis situations
• Collaborate with clinical staff for effective case management
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year experience in a relevant care setting
• Education in Child and Youth Work or related fields
• Robust understanding of youth mental health issues
• Proficiency in crisis intervention strategies
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
