Become a Psychologist at Wikwemikong Health Centre, dedicated to providing psychological services to children and families within Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory. Your focus will be on diagnosis, treatment planning, and community engagement.
This position emphasizes the delivery of accessible mental health services tailored to the community. You will be responsible for overseeing the full continuum of client care while working closely with multidisciplinary teams and local service providers. Your expertise will help support positive developmental outcomes among community members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute psychological assessments and provide diagnostic services
• Develop treatment plans and conduct evidence-based interventions
• Maintain documentation and confidentiality standards
• Engage with community members to promote mental health education
• Collaborate with other health professionals for integrated services
Requirements:
• Doctoral degree in Psychology is required
• Registration or eligibility with Ontario's Psychology College
• Three years of clinical experience minimum
• Familiarity with Indigenous communities is a plus
• Valid Class “G” driver's license required
