Pay: $21.50-$25.00CADper hour, based on experience Ebel Quarries, aPolycorcompany, isseekinga dependable and safety-focused Mill Production Worker to join our stone-production team inWiarton, Ontario.This hands-on position assists with operating stone-processing equipment and producing quality natural-stone products.
Thispostingis for one existing vacancy.
Responsibilities Operate orassistwith stone-processing machinery, including blade or belt saw equipment, as trained and authorized.
Cut and process stone according to production requirements and specified dimensions.
Inspect finished products for quality,accuracyand visible defects.
Safely handle,moveand organize stone,toolsand production materials.
Monitor equipment and report maintenance,qualityor safety concerns.
Perform routine cleanup and helpmaintaina protected, organized production area.
Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
Assistwith other mill duties as production needs require.
Qualifications Previousmanufacturing,machine-operation, stone-processingor industrial experience is an asset, but training may be provided.
Mechanically inclined and comfortable working around production equipment.
Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding work.
Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to approximately 23 kg/50 lbs.
Comfortable working in a noisy and dusty production environment.
