Join the Developmental Disabilities Association as a Lead Child and Youth Worker in Brock Junction. Contribute to a meaningful journey of growth for school-age children in a part-time role.
This permanent part-time position covers weekdays, with additional hours during school breaks, and requires at least three years of experience in related studies and a year of direct work with children. You will provide support that fosters both learning and social skills. Your role will ensure children, especially those needing extra help, thrive in a supportive and safe setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate and coordinate enriching programs for children
• Interact with children, fostering growth and social skills
• Collaborate closely with families and educators
• Ensure compliance with safety and behavioral guidelines
• Maintain an inclusive and supportive atmosphere
Requirements:
• Certificate or three years in child-related studies
• Direct experience in school-aged care
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Valid First Aid/CPR and Class 5 Driver's License
• Criminal Record and medical clearances mandatory
