As a member of the BC Compliance and Enforcement Agency, you will lead intricate investigations related to natural resource crimes. Your ability to gather and analyze evidence will support regulatory compliance and public safety. In partnership with various agencies, you will navigate cases from the investigation stage to judicial hearings, making impactful decisions to uphold sustainable management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead investigations into complex natural resource offences
• Work with partners in law enforcement and regulatory agencies
• Gather and preserve evidence for legal action
• Draft comprehensive reports for hearings
• Enforce natural resource legislation effectively
Requirements:
• Diploma in criminology, enforcement, or similar area
• Track record of successful investigative leadership
• Valid BC Driver’s Licence required
• Strong interpersonal skills fostering partnerships
• Flexibility for travel and evening work
