This role is essential for ensuring the safe operation of hydroelectric power generation at Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. Your responsibilities will include monitoring plant performance, optimizing operations, and conducting maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have a solid mechanical background and a commitment to sustainability in energy production.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure continuous operation of hydroelectric systems
• Conduct thorough performance inspections and documentation
• Implement a structured Preventative Maintenance program




• Handle troubleshooting and alarm resolution promptly
• Oversee contractors during maintenance events

Requirements:
• Red Seal certification as an Industrial Electrician or Millwright
• 3 to 5 years of experience in hydro operations
• Hands-on, self-starter attitude required
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Must possess a valid BC driver’s license
