Overview Concrete Form Setters (Carpenters) & Finishers – Job Bridge Globals client is an industry leader in the heavy civil construction sector, specializing in bridge rehabilitation and construction. Wages are $CAD 24.00 per hour. Over time paid after 48 hours.
Responsibilities Building and setting up formwork
Pour and vibrate concrete
Finish concrete
Strip forms in a safe manner
Assists other workers with general labour activities when required
Adapt easily to different formwork systems
Work with a variety of hand tools, power tools and equipment used in concrete construction
General housekeeping duties
Qualifications 2-3 years experience in building & setting forms in the heavy civil construction industry
Able to read standard formwork drawings
Dependable work attendance
A positive attitude and teamworking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to safety, following all rules and regulations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
