Support Delta Secondary students in their career aspirations as a Career Centre Advisor. This temporary position focuses on providing career guidance and refining post-secondary options for learners.

You will work closely with the Secondary School Principal and collaborate with various district staff, ensuring the Career Centre is stocked with the latest vocational and educational materials. Your expertise will help students navigate scholarship opportunities and prepare for life after graduation through various events and workshops.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate the Career Centre, ensuring resource availability
• Guide students in scholarship and post-secondary processes
• Organize presentations and career events




• Communicate with external agencies for job opportunities
• Assist with aptitude testing and assessments

Requirements:
• Completion of relevant post-secondary education
• At least 5 years of related experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and initiate projects
• Knowledge of WCB and WHMIS regulations
