What this job involves: JLL is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities' Management Team at a prominent energy client in Sarnia. This role reports to the Operations Lead and will be responsible for all facility maintenance and repairs. Hours of work are weekdays with on-call responsibilities.
What your day-to-day will look like: Respond to client service requests as quickly and efficiently as possible. Utilize JLL's CMMS software to open and action work orders
Provide handyman services in the areas of general repairs such as flooring, touch-up painting, locks and hardware, ceiling tiles, etc.
Provide maintenance and repairs to building equipment and assist with landscaping and other outdoors duties
Provide assistance as directed to other building trade personnel.
Conduct general site labour duties throughout the site such as snow shoveling and salting of building entrances/walkways as required, site clean up - emptying of garbage receptacles and debris removal, delivering packages, relocating supplies/equipment etc.
Maintain work areas clean, efficient, and organized at all times.
Required Qualifications:
2 years+ experience in general building repairs and maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting
Driver's license to operate JLL work vehicle on-site.
Excellent interpersonal skills with high level of professional and commitment to service excellence.
Ability to perform regular inspections of building and identify, recommends and implements improvements.
Valuable verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to perform the requirements of the job with minimal supervision and to complete the assigned duties and responsibilities as per agreed deadlines or established schedules.
