Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Pave and rake asphalt. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Transportation/travel information: Travel expenses paid by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced setting. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Manual dexterity. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
